- Admissions to the BBA program are offered to candidates having passed 10+2 (any stream) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board.
- Selection of candidates shall be based on merit ranks drawn from cumulative scores of SET, Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

The selection of candidates shall be strictly based on their performance in SET and PI-WAT.
- It is mandatory to attend all components/tests of PI-WAT/ST-PI to be eligible for admission to any UG programs.
- Only candidates who attend all components/tests of the selection process (PI-WAT/ST-PI) shall be considered as eligible for the generation of merit/wait/reject list.
- Candidates who remain absent for any one of the components/tests will be considered as ineligible for the selection process of UG degree programs of SIU.

Personal Interaction (PI) – It is a personal interaction/interview of a candidate with a panel of experts from Industries/Academics. That covers general awareness, extracurricular activities, academics and specific fields of interest, communication – skills and overall personality.
Written Ability Test (WAT) – The Test includes one PAT (Picture Association Test) and writing a short essay on a given topic (of general nature) as well as answering the questions related to the given topic.
