The B.B.A program is a full-time, three-year graduation program spread over six semesters which aims at transforming a student into a socially responsible global corporate citizen.

This program with its intensive and updated syllabus and a wide range of additional modules would indeed enable the student to aspire for higher studies in premium business schools in India and abroad.

Cafeteria Approach: The Institute follows a cafeteria curriculum which was successfully launched from the Academic Year 2011-12. The Cafeteria curriculum has been designed to allow flexibility to the students to take up courses of their choice resulting in the award of a general B.B.A or B.B.A with single or dual specialization.

The program is of 150 credits having a combination of core courses and elective courses. The cafeteria approach encourages and allows students to choose elective courses from across various specializations.

Students will be selected for admission based on the cumulative score of –

Overview of PI-WAT

PI-WAT is the next activity of selection process for BBA course offered by Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies (SCMS-Pune). For PI-WAT those candidates who have scored > = cut off marks and who have registered for SCMS Pune also will only be called.

Personal Interaction (PI) – It is personal interaction/ interview of a candidate with panel of experts from Industries / Academics. That covers general awareness, extracurricular activities, your academics and your specific field of interest, communication –skills and over all personality.

Written Ability Test (WAT) – The Test includes one PAT (picture association test) and writing a short essay on a given topic (of general nature) as well as answering the questions related to given topic.

Ans:- No. BBA is a Non-residential course. One can stay as per his/her convenience.

  1. What is the Fees structure of BBA programmed?

Ans:- It is a 3 years course with semester system having following fees structure –

First Year – a. For Indian Students – Rs. 3,00,000* + Rs. 10,000 (Refundable Deposit)

  1. For International Students – in USD equivalent to Rs 4,50,000* + 40,000 (Administration Fees) + 10,000 (Refundable Deposit)

Fees is payable semester wise in two installments. For the corresponding years it is likely to increase by 5% to 10 %.

Symbiosis Center for Health Care (SCHC) is an in-house Health Care Centre exclusive to the staff and students of the various institutes of Symbiosis. The SCHC has a team of specialist doctors who conduct the (compulsory) annual checkup of every student. A medical officer of SCHC is stationed in our campus at Viman Nagar for Curative health care that includes medical OPD, referrals to consultants and emergency hospitalization. The center also arranges seminars & health education workshop.

  1. Insurance

Every student at Symbiosis is covered under a unique and novel medical insurance scheme. The student is covered for hospitalization (in the empanelled Hospitals)up to Rs. 50,000 in case of non accidental emergencies (as per the Mediclaim Insurance Policy) &Rs. 1,00,000 in case of Rail/Road traffic accidents.

Printout/ photocopy facilities are available for the students at the reprography center within the campus.
