Christ University, Bangalore Cut Off:

CU, Bangalore was established in 1969. The college offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs. CU offers admission on the basis of merit list and entrance test for different courses.

Admission to undergraduate programs is offered on the basis of merit list prepared by the university by considering scores of class 12th. For doctoral programs, students must have cleared UGC-CSIR NET/ JRF examination or SLET/ GATE examinations. Also, the students who have worked as JRF for one year in the externally funded major research projects may be exempted from M.Phil requirements. In the case of internally funded research projects, if the student has two years of research experience they can be exempted from M.Phil requirements.

  • CU cut off for Engineering, Law and Commerce and Management courses are decided based on scores obtained in CU Entrance test [CUET].
  • Skill Assessment Test along with NATA ‘2024’/ JEE Mains – Paper 2 is considered for admission to B.Arch course in CU
  • Skill Assessment Test is conducted for candidates interested in applying for Science, Arts and Humanities courses.
  • CU general merit cut off for B.Com Finance and Accounting is 90% for boys and 91% for girls.
  • This cut off is only for students who have passed Karnataka PUC examinations in ‘2024’

Entrance Examinations Accepted by Christ University

  • The University accepts the score secured in National Level Management Test like MAT / CAT / CMAT / XAT / GMAT / GRE / ATMA for admission in MBA programmed.
  • Composite score of 600 or above in MAT conducted by AIMA in September 2018, December 2018 or February ‘2024’.
  • Composite score of 450 or above in GMAT 2018/ ‘2024’.
  • Composite score of 300 or above in GRE 2018/ ‘2024’.
  • 70 percentile or above in CMAT/ CAT/ XAT or ATMA ‘2024’.
  • All the remaining courses are based on the entrance test conducted by CU, Bangalore.
  • Phil and Ph.D admission is based on the Entrance Examination conducted by the University called CU Entrance Test.
  • The duration for the Entrance Test is two hours with maximum marks of 120. Each correct answer carries 1 mark and incorrect answer deducts 0.25 mark.

There are two sections:

Section A: Research Methodology/ Aptitude (60 marks)

Section B: Subject Specific (60 marks)

 When will the application for MBA programmed open for the academic year?

– CU, Bangalore Masters of Business Administration application form will open on October, ‘2024’ for Session I and mid-February for Session II. The application to all the other UG and PG courses start by December.

Can I apply to multiple programmed in the same application form?

– No, you cannot apply to more than one programmed using the same application form. In certain cases preference will be asked, then the applicant can select one from the drop-down menu but cannot enter manually his/ her preference.

When will the results of the selection process be declared?

– The important date section of the individual programmed has the result declaration dates mentioned on it. In case the dates are not given then the result will be declared within 48 hours of the process and the offer of admission will be valid for 3-5 working days.
