Bachelor of Business Administration

The undergraduate programmed in Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) is offered by the Department of Management Studies as a platform to prepare young minds with a positive attitude for excellent performance and committed service.

It provides the right nurturing ground to enable students to pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions.

The curriculum for the three year programmed (6 Semesters), has been designed to enable the students to get an overview of the various aspects related to launching and managing a business effectively;

as well as giving them an opportunity to specialize in a functional area of management that they would like to pursue in their careers.

The B.B.A programmed provides students with the opportunity for interdisciplinary learning through various generic electives from the streams of Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Law, Media Studies, Hotel Management and Computer Applications.

The programmed focuses on developing the students and equipping them to meet the managerial challenges of the 21st century.

The ability to work in teams is also focused upon as a key skill to be developed for success in the work-place.

The programmed also aims to develop the student’s independent thinking, decision-making capability and research aptitude.

Learning is enhanced through many pedagogical tools like case studies, presentations, internships, research projects, industrial visits, and guest lecturers from a pool of industry experts.

Aimed at the holistic development of the students, the Department facilitates participation in various National and International fests.

It also conducts many curricular and co-curricular activities on a regular basis. Social responsibility is a thrust area and students are encouraged to participate in community development initiatives.

Educational qualification:

Eligibility for the programmed is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) in any stream (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, and Sciences) from any recognized Board in India. Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May ‘2024’ may apply with their class X and XI marks. Students pursuing International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations: Applicants pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits. Applicants pursuing GCE / Excel must have a minimum of 3 A levels with a grade not less than C.

Time of Payment: All the candidates have to pay the I Year fee immediately after confirmation of the Admittance II & III Year fee must be remitted before the commencement of final examinations of II and IV Semesters respectively.

NRI fee is applicable for first year for candidates who have studied foreign syllabus (has to be approved by UGC / AIU) in the qualifying examination of study in India.

NRI fee is applicable for the full duration of the programmed for candidates who;

Have pursued and completed their last qualifying exam from outside India.

Are NRI and candidates who have applied under NRI category.

To claim Indian / Karnataka category fee, the candidates should have studied last 7 years in India / Karnataka. (Not applicable for OCI, PIO and Foreign Nationals).

Admittance registration fee of INR 5000/- is non-refundable in the event of cancellation of Admittance. This fee will be apart from cancellation charges if any applicable.

Copy of statement of marks of Class 10, Class 11/ 12, (Mandatory).

Fill-in all the details in the “detailed application” page.

Scan and upload recent passport size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms formal dress with white background) and click “Submit”.

On clicking Submit, a viewable and editable page will appear on screen.

In case you need to make any corrections; you may edit the data/details and then click “Confirm Submission”.

Make payment using card and after successful payment click on submit. A 9 (Nine) digit Application number will be generated.

If unable to print the application form due to system/power/internet failure, logon to https://appstat.christuniversity.in, under the “Application Status” page enter the registered Email-ID and password to view and print the application form.

(After payment if you do not receive the 9 (Nine) digit application number, then your application process is incomplete and payment will go in for refund process.

The refund will take about 15 days and must be checked with your bank).

Copy of transfer certificate from last qualified Institution (If available during the selection process)

Copy of Migration Certificate is Mandatory for all candidates other than Karnataka PU Board, from the previous Institute / (If available during the selection process).
