ANS: SCMS Pune is a constituent institute of Symbiosis International University situated in Pune (Maharashtra). The institute is known to offer undergraduate course – BBA. The present intake of Indian students is 240 and for International student’s intake is 60.
- Students seeking admission in SCMS should appear in Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), an entrance exam conducted by SIU for admission into undergraduate programs.

The institute offers three-year degree course in BBA. The total intake is 300 students. Candidates desirous of applying for the course must have passed their class 12th qualifying examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. QUES8: Is the Hostel facility available for students in Symbiosis?
ANS: Hostel facilities at Symbiosis are excellent. All the rooms here are 3- tier. Each student has his/her own personal bed, wardrobe, table, chair, dustbin and cloth rods.
The size of the room is big enough for 3 people to stay without feeling congested with plenty of windows. Bathroom and washroom are separated and the wash basin is outside washroom.
There are four floors in each hostel and each floor has 8 rooms. Housekeeping staff comes daily to clean rooms, bathrooms and washrooms. Lifts are newly installed in each building.
Overall, it’s the best a private hostel can provide with experienced and friendly staff. No one is allowed to enter the hostel building after 10:30 pm without a written permission from the campus administration. For information regarding Fee Structure.

QUES11: How difficult is it to get into symbiosis for BBA?
ANS: GD/PI is not too difficult if a candidate is prepared and updated on relatively current events. All candidates need to ensure that they read the papers and keep updated with the recent events.
For PI one needs to be fairly well versed with their 12th syllabus. But the most important, is that a student needs to be well-versed with the English Language like it’s their mother tongue. Unfortunately, that is just the current trend, and will be for the foreseeable future.
