It is on the extension of Hosur Road (NH 7)opposite the Bangalore Dairy Circle Flyover.

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) is a program launched by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. (http://unnatbharatabhiyan.gov.in), Since the vision and mission of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) were in alignment with UBA’s vision and mission, it got involved in the program and became a participating institution (PI)from 1st August 2017.

The aim of UBA is to bring transformational change in rural development processes by leveraging knowledge institutions to help build the architecture of an Inclusive India and the mission is to enable higher educational institutions to work with the people of rural India in identifying development challenges and evolving appropriate solutions for accelerating sustainable growth.

The concept was nurtured through wide consultation with the representatives of a number of technical institutions, Rural Technology Action Group (RuTAG) coordinators, voluntary organizations, and government agencies, who were actively involved in rural development work, during a National workshop held at IIT Delhi in September 2014.
