B.B.A (Honours / Honours with Research)

SIU announces the four-year degree programme with multiple entry and exits options as envisioned in the NEP 2020. The highlights of the new programme offerings are as follows:

The Programme framework allows exciting options to pursue a BBA degree with a Major, a Major and a Minor or just a BBA, along with the opportunity to pursue Multidisciplinary, Ability and Skill enhancement, and Value-Added courses.

Offers a good blend of immersive learning, research and community engagement. Includes opportunities for semester exchange programmes with foreign universities.

Offers the following exit options:

Exit options:

A Certificate at the end of the first year of the programme with 42 credits.
A Diploma at the end of the first two years of the programme with 83 credits.
A UG Degree at the end of 3 years of the programme with 129 credits.
A UG Degree with Honours / Research at the end of the 4 years of the programme with 161 credits
Offers the option of Re-entry within 3 years of exit and 7 years as the maximum permissible period to complete the programme.

DURATION

The B.B.A-Honours / Honours with Research Dual Degree program spans around 4 years (48 months).

● Year 1 – 12 months (SCMS, Pune/NOIDA)

● Year 2 – 12 months (DoM, SIU, Dubai)

● Year 3 & 4 – 24 months (Deakin University)

Eligibility

B.B.A (Honours / Honours with Research)

Passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognised Board with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% Marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes).

Students who wish to opt for Honours with Research must earn a 7.5 CGPA and above at the end of the Semester-6. Eligibility Criteria for multiple entries would be as per the University’s Lateral Entry Rules for FYUG Programmes.

In collaboration with Deakin University, Australia, comprising one year at SIU Pune (SCMS Pune), one year at SIU Dubai, and two years at Deakin University

Passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognised Board with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% Marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes).*

* – The conditions to transition to Deakin University, Australia are:

a) Students completing the first two years at SCMS-Pune and DoM, SIU, Dubai with a WAM of 55(CGPA of 6)

b) IELTS minimum score of 6

Class Rooms

SCMS has spacious classrooms with interactive smart boards, a facility of collar mikes and a public address system. Ours is a fully Wi-Fi-enabled campus.

Computer Laboratory

The institute has a well-equipped computer laboratory with an interactive smart board, data analytics software, and internet connectivity to facilitate the teaching-learning process.

Library & Reading Room

Our Library houses some of the finest collections of management & course-specific books, classics, fiction & non- fiction books, periodicals, journals, newspapers, CDs, DVDs, etc. The noteworthy feature is the digital library, which enables access to e-journals, e-books, and online databases and catalogues where students and faculty members can browse varied databases such as CMIE Prowess IQ, CMIE -Industry Outlook, DELNET, and other centrally subscribed online resources.

In order to carry out the placement-related activities for the Third-year students, the college has constituted the Placement Cell.

CANTEEN, MESS, HOSTEL & CAMPUS FACILITY

Facility	Details
Cafeteria & Mess	The campus houses a cafeteria serving multi-cuisine food. The mess provides both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, including breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. A juice bar is also available, offering fresh fruit juices, coffee, and beverages.
Hostel	Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls with limited seats. Accommodation includes twin and triple-sharing, well-furnished rooms with Wi-Fi, a hot and cold-water supply throughout the day, attached bathrooms and toilets, generator backup, indoor games and recreation rooms with a TV, guest rooms, housekeeping services, and 24/7 security. Hostels are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited availability and are located within a 1 km radius of the campus.
Convenience Store	An in-house convenience store is available on campus, providing easy access to daily necessities and essential items.
Reprography Centre	The campus reprography centre offers stationery supplies, photocopying, scanning, and print-out facilities for students.
Gymnasium	A spacious and well-equipped gymnasium is available on campus with modern fitness equipment.
Health Care Centre	The Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC) provides in-house healthcare services, including preventive, curative, and promotional healthcare. Outpatient Department (OPD) services are available with specialised doctors for consultation across Symbiosis campuses.
ATM Facility	A Union Bank of India ATM is installed on campus for the convenience of students, faculty, and staff.
