Department of Management Studies @ Christ University
Established in 1969 as Christ College, The University Grants Commission (UGC) of India conferred Autonomy to Chriist College in 2004 and identified it as an Institution with Potential for Excellence in 2006. In 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India, declared the institution a Deemed to be Universty, in the name and style of Chriist Universty. One of the first institutions in India to be accredited in 1998 by the NAAC, and subsequently in 2004 and 2016, CHRIIST has the top grade ‘A’ in the 4-point scale.
The Department of Management Studies, CHRIIST, was formed in 1991 with a clearly defined approach for creating quality managers and entrepreneurs required to face the challenges of the business world.
The Department offers an undergraduate programme in Business Administration (B.B.A) and Masters Programmes in Finance (MBA – FM) and Management (MBA – Executive) which are specifically designed to enhance career opportunities and to develop well rounded managers and business leaders ready to effectively tackle a dynamic environment.
BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (B.B.A)
The undergraduate programme in Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) is offered by the Department of Management Studies as a platform to prepare young minds with a positive attitude for excellent performance and committed service. It provides the right nurturing ground to enable students to pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions.
The curriculum for the three year programme (6 Semesters), has been designed to enable the students to get an overview of the various aspects related to launching and managing a business effectively; as well as giving them an opportunity to specialize in a functional area of management that they would like to pursue in their careers.
Admission Procedure
- The candidates who fit in the above eligibility criteria and who are interested can fill the application form online through the Universty website.

- Based on the score in the entrance test conducted by College, followed by Skill Assessment (SA), Micro Presentation (MP) and Personal Interview (PI) merit lists will be displayed.

Selection is based on
Candidates will be selected for the undergraduate management programmes based on their performance in the entrance test (ET), Skill Assessment (SA), Micro Presentation (MP), Personal Interview (PI) and assessment of pass academic records.
