The distinctiveness of the course is in the credit transfer option available to students of this program. Students have a choice to complete the first two years of their degree program at Christ University in Bangalore, India and then, they proceed to complete the remaining years of their studies at the affiliated foreign university and finally graduate from that University.

Credit transfer as an option will give students an opportunity to get international exposure.

Students who fall under any of the following classifications can apply under NRI Student category and be liable to pay the fees applicable to the category for the entire duration of the programme

1. NRI defined under the Indian Income Tax Law

2. Either of the parents is outside India (except Nepal) on Work Permit / Resident Permit.

3. Indian citizen financed by any Institution / agency outside India, even if parents are Residents of India.

4. Indian Citizen who has pursued studies for qualifying examination in any foreign / Indian syllabus outside India..

5. NRI fee is applicable for the full duration of the program for candidates who;
   5.1. Have pursued and completed their last qualifying exam from outside India.
   5.2. Are NRI and candidates who have applied under the NRI category

  • Eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) in any stream (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, Sciences) from any recognised Board in India.
  • Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May ‘2024’ may apply with their class X and XI marks.

7. Transfer Certificate (TC) of undergraduate/postgraduate degree from the last qualified institution (Mandatory) must be submitted by 20 August, ‘2024’.
 
8. Migration Certificate of undergraduate degree from qualifying University (applicable for all candidates except those studying in Karnataka) (Mandatory) must be submitted by 20 August, ‘2024’.
 
9. Students pursuing their final year must bring the statement of marks up to the previous semester / year (Mandatory).

10. Candidates falling under any of these categories (NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) should submit a] Copy of Passport and Visa Details (Mandatory).

Create an application login at https://appstat.christuniversity.in using NAME (as printed on Class 10 Marks Card), EMAIL-ID and a password.

The email id and mobile number provided will be used for sending confirmation and application status-update messages.

An applicant can apply for as many programs using the same ID as long as the prescribed eligibility criteria for the specific program is fulfilled.

Applicants must have the following documents before filling the application online:

  • Copy of statement of marks of Class 10, Class 12, and Degree Marks Cards (whichever is available years/semesters marks card) (Mandatory) and a valid Entrance test scorecard of (Sep MAT ‘2024’ / Dec MAT ‘2024’ / Feb MAT ‘2024’ OR CAT ‘2024’ OR CMAT ‘2024’ OR GMAT ‘2024’ / ‘2024’ OR XAT ‘2024’ OR ATMA ‘2024’ OR GRE ‘2024’ / ‘2024’) and Candidates who are applying for the Dual Degree MBA (CU) + MBA, (FHWS, Germany) Programme should also have the work-related documents (Joining Letter / Experience Letter) (Full Time /  Family Business also considered) with one or more year of work experience (Mandatory).
  • The application cannot be submitted without filling in all the mandatory fields. A recent passport-size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms formal dress with white background) should be scanned and uploaded along with other documents.
  • The application number will be auto-generated after the successful payment of the application fee.
  • A copy of the application can be printed anytime from the login.
  • In case of payment failure due to technical error, the application number will not be generated and any amount deducted will be automatically refunded within 15 business days.

Applicants applying while in their final year of undergraduate degree must carry the marks card upto the previous semester/year.

Students pursuing an International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations:

Applicants may apply for the programme from 8 December ‘2024’ when applications will be available online on the University website till the date applications officially close.

Applications for each programme will close approximately a week before the scheduled selection process.

Applicants must have the following documents before filling the application online:

  • Copy of statement of marks of Class 10, Class 11/ 12, (Mandatory).
  • Fill in all the details in the “detailed application” page. Scan and upload a recent passport size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms formal dress with white background) and click “Submit”. On clicking Submit, a viewable and editable page will appear on the screen. In case you need to make any corrections; you may edit the data/details and then click “Confirm Submission”.
  • Make payment using a card and after successful payment, click on submit. A 9 (Nine) digit Application number will be generated. If unable to print the application form due to system/power/internet failure, logon to https://appstat.christuniversity.in, under the “Application Status” page enter the registered Email-ID and password to view and print the application form. (After payment if you do not receive the 9 (Nine) digit application number, then your application process is incomplete, and payment will go in for refund process. The refund will take about 15 days and must be checked with your bank).

Students are welcome to apply under the Non Resident Indian category for the programmes offered by the University

Students who fall under any of the following classifications can apply under NRI Student category and be liable to pay the fees applicable to the category for the entire duration of the programme

1. NRI defined under the Indian Income Tax Law

2. Either of the parents is outside India (except Nepal) on Work Permit / Resident Permit.

3. Indian citizen financed by any Institution / agency outside India, even if parents are Residents of India.

4. Indian Citizen who has pursued studies for qualifying examination in any foreign / Indian syllabus outside India..

5. NRI fee is applicable for the full duration of the programme for candidates who;
   5.1. Have pursued and completed their last qualifying exam from outside India.
   5.2. Are NRI and candidates who have applied under NRI category

  • Basic eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) in any stream with minimum of 45% (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, Sciences) from any recognised Board in India.
  • Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May ‘2024’ may apply with their class X and XI marks.

Students pursuing International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations:

  • Applicants pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits.

Scanned copies of the class 10, class 11/12 marks card should be uploaded while filling the application.

B.Tech programs are offered at the Kengeri campus of Christ University. Students with at least 50% marks in 10+2 (PCM) are eligible to apply. The application form can be filled online from the official website of the university. These programs are also open to NRI and Foreign candidates.

Christ University conducts a Group Discussion (GD), and Micro Presentation (MP) to offer admission in these programs. On the basis of performance in GD and MP, candidates will then be called for further rounds of selection which include a Written Assessment test.

Bachelor of Technology Computer Science and Engineering

Computer Science and Engineering is a 4 year, 8-semester Undergraduate program aimed at studying, designing, developing, implementing, support and management of computer-based information systems.

Students under this course concentrate on both software and hardware areas. It provides advanced studies in Information Systems Design, Communication Systems and Networking, Foundations of Computing Systems, and Internet and Web-based Technologies.

Students have to take up electives from a wide choice of subjects, such as Embedded Low Power Systems, Object-Oriented Systems, Information and System Security, and Software Reliability.
