Christ University is situated at Bangalore, Karnataka. It was founded as an autonomous univeristy in the year 1969 and was known as Chriist College.
Later in 2008, it was turned into a deemed to be universty under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India.
The College is managed by the priests of the Catholic religious’ order, Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI). It is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU).
College has three campuses situated in Bangalore. One is in Kengeri, the second one is in Bannerghatta road and the last and the main campus is situated at the Hosur road.

The curriculum for the three year programme (6 Semesters), has been designed to enable the students to get an overview of the various aspects related to launching and managing a business effectively; as well as giving them an opportunity to specialize in a functional area of management that they would like to pursue in their careers.

The admision and selection procedure varies for different programs in the College. It grants admisions to the students on the basis of entrance test conducted by the College itself, marks obtained.

- For all the odd semesters of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, end-semester exams are conducted in the month of November.
