Christ University is a private university in Bangalore, India, established in 1969. It is focused on four main educational areas, namely Arts, Sciences, Management and PG Courses. The institution offers both foundation courses in these areas as well as specialization with a Bachelors/Masters/Ph.D. degree. Originally called Christ College, it was christened in 2008 as Christ University.

Christ is managed by the Catholic religious order, Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) and was founded in 1969 in Bangalore with around 40 students. Christ currently manages over 45 educational programs in Karnataka and neighboring Andhra Pradesh with a total of over 15000 students. Christ ranks #1 in Karnataka as per recent Edu Survey. Bachelor of Commerce (B Com):2023

The BCom programme provides a strong foundation level understanding of the functioning of business organizations, commercial transactions and various specialized operations such as accounting, finance, marketing and human resource by offering a comprehensive curriculum.

The three year BCom degree programme is divided into six semesters and is designed as per the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) model curriculum prescribed by UGC. It includes core papers,discipline specific electives, generic electives and skill enhancement courses. Discipline specific electives offered in the fifth and the sixth semesters are in the following streams: Human Resource & Marketing Management, Banking & Insurance and Accounting & Finance. Students are required to undertake a micro project during the final semester.

Placements: Placements in our college are above average. It depends on your GPA in 10 semesters. The most important thing is, the internships should be at proper places, which will help you in getting placed. You need to keep up with general affairs. We have an internship and placements committee to help the students in getting internships and placements.

Infrastructure: Our college has the best infrastructure like other top private colleges. Christ has a wonderful class atmosphere in terms of infrastructure. In every class, we have a projector, Wi-Fi, speakers, and good ventilation. There are more than 19 canteens on the campus. I’ve never faced any problems regarding the infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified. Some of them are tagged as the best, and some are tagged as good. The quality of teaching is very good. The curriculum helps students as well as teachers to have an interactive session. Classrooms are very well designed to support the students in every step.

Other: Our College organizes various events throughout the year. The crowd consists of students from all over India. Our college is surrounded by good food stalls, malls, street shops. Remarks

College is excellent and very good teachers, good environment, but only street about attendance which we should have 85persent and if you have below 75 you have you are not allowed to exams.

Entrance preview

In order to take after my father business. In the beginning, there will be entered exam which will mainly focus on English little bit of maths and science and last general knowledge..if you pass in writing exam you will go to interview where they give you a topic and ask you to speak about it for few minutes.

FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES:

The fee will vary for each course. In my view fee was ok ..for my course it is 140000 per year and has to pay everything at the beginning of the college (pay at least one year at a time ) their won’t be any installments.
