Christ University, Bangalore (CU) was established in 1969 as Christ College. The University Grants Commission (UGC) of India conferred Autonomy to Christ College in 2004. In 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India, declared the institution a Deemed to be University, in the name of CU. The University has 9 academic departments: Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, Commerce, Management, Business Studies and Social Sciences, Engineering, Law and Architecture. Criteria for Taking Admission in all Courses

For @ BBA/BBA (Hons.)/BHM: Christ Bangalore Direct Admission

  • Candidates have to apply for admittance online on the University website.
  • Then, candidates have to appear for CU Entrance Test.
  • Then, there will be a Skill Assessment Test which consists of a test on written skills, communication skills and logical reasoning.
  • Candidates then have to give a Micro Presentation of 90 seconds
  • Micro Presentation is followed by a Personal Interview. In the Personal Interview, assessment of past performance in Class 10, 11th and 12th will be done.

For @ B.Com: Christ Bangalore Direct Admission

  • Candidates have to apply for admittance online on the University website.
  • Then, candidates have to appear for CU Entrance Test.
  • Then, there will be a Skill Assessment Test which consists of a test on written skills, communication skills and logical reasoning.
  • Candidates then have to give a Micro Presentation of 90 seconds

  • Candidates then have to show a 5 minutes art and performance skill on stage. Assessment will be done on the art and performance skill. This will include dance, or any other form suitable to appropriately manifest the candidate’s gift on stage.
  • Then, there will be a Skill Assessment Test which consists of a test on written skills, communication skills and logical reasoning.
  • Skill Assessment Test is followed by a Personal Interview. In the Personal Interview, assessment of past performance in Class 10, 11th and 12th will be done.

  • Candidates have to apply for admittance online on the University website.
  • Applicants have to appear for Group Discussion and give a Micro Presentation.
  • Applicants will then have to appear for a Written Assessment in which they will be asked to write on a topic for not more than 10 minutes.
  • This will be followed by Verbal Assessment and Personal interview of each applicant which will be done by an expert panel. During the Personal Interview, assessment of past performance in Class 10, Class 11/12 and undergraduate degree will be done.

Is Christ in Bangalore good College?

Christ University is undoubtedly one of the best colleges in Bangalore. Yes, they do have a long list of rules and are strict in terms of discipline. One of my cousins studied at Christ and has positive things to say about it. The faculty at Christ is experienced, but again the teachers can be strict with the students.

I Myself Personally have visited the campus and it looks pleasant, no doubt. I am not aware of the placements, but one of the start-ups I worked with would frequent CU to hire interns and freshers. I am pretty sure, there is dearth of big companies lining up at Christ to hire talent.

What I personally love about the college is the crowd there. There is something about the students at Christ 🙂 I also think the college somehow helps with the overall development of the students, preparing them for the outside world, which is great.

Again, it is my opinion as an outsider. Christ in Bangalore is a good option to Study!!!

Direct Admission in Christ Bangalore?

Well yes, CU Direct Admission is possible. It is a legit process. The only condition for admittance through management quota are: – Firstly, The student should have qualified in senior higher secondary with at least 50% as an aggregate mark.

The admission through management is possible on 5% of the total number seats for various courses in CU

The demand for Professional Education is very high, and available seats in CU are very few .So Government has allowed Private Institutions to set up Professional Colleges, with the condition that a certain number of seats be reserved for Merit quota students and the remaining seats are allowed to be fill by the Managements, who charge higher fees to such students.
