Jain University Eligibility Criteria and Admissions

B.Tech Admission 2023

In order to secure a seat at Jain University under B. Tech course, the candidate needs to have a minimum cumulative grade of 60% (55% for candidates from the reserved category) required for class 12 or an equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and as required courses and Electronics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, or Biology as an optional subject from a recognized board.

However, for admission under B. Tech (Lateral Entry), a diploma in a relevant discipline from a recognized university or institution (approved by DTE) with an aggregate of at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST Categories) is required.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in ET or Uni-GAUGE followed by Counselling. Moreover, selection under B. Tech (Lateral Entry) is merit-based.

Exam Pattern of JET (B.Tech)

JET is split into two sections. Section I deals with problems from physics, chemistry, maths, and biology, whereas Section II deals with the candidates’ English language proficiency. The test lasts for two hours and thirty minutes in total.

M.Tech Admission 2023

The basic eligibility criteria for admission under M.Tech is that the candidate must have a BE/B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST).

Students will have to go through Jain Entrance Test (JET) which is followed by a Personal Interview round and must score valid marks.

Although students who have already appeared for GATE will be exempted from the Entrance Test. Moreover, Candidates with a valid test score of any State Level Entrance are exempted from JET.

MBA Admission 2023

Jain University offers a full-time MBA program for a duration of 2 Years

The basic eligibility criteria for admission under the MBA course is that the candidate must have a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% in any subject or have passed an examination with an equivalent value (10+2+3 pattern). Moreover, Students from the SC/ST categories are given a 5% mark reduction in the qualifying examination.

Admission to the course is based on the marks in Jain Entrance Test (JET) followed by an interview. Candidates who have passed the CAT, KMAT, CMAT, GMAT, or XAT exam may also apply for admission to an MBA program.

UG Admission 2023: B.Sc, BCA, B.Com, BBA, BMS, BA & LL.B

Jain University offers B.Sc, BBA, BA, BMS, BCA, LL.B & B.Com programs in various specializations in Honors and regular as well.

B.Sc.

For admission in this course, candidates must have a minimum of 50% in their overall grade point average and be 10+2 graduates. Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the JET examination.

B.Des:

The applicant must have obtained a least 45% on their 10+2 exam in any stream and should be proficient in English. Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the JET Design examination or a valid score in UCEED can also be considered.

B.Com (Hons)/ B.Com/ B.Com (Professionals)/ Cooperate BBA/ BBA/ BBA (Professionals)

10+2 in the Commerce stream is required, moreover, Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the JET examination.

10+2 from a reputable institution, with selection based on the marks obtained in the JET examination.

BCA

The applicant must have earned a 10+2 Science or Commerce diploma with one of the required core subjects—Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, or Information Practice—in PUC, ISC, CBSE, or an equivalent board. Additionally, the final selection will be based on merit in the qualifying examination and scores in JET.

Note- The Jain University JET Exam for admission to UG courses will commence from March 30 – March 31, 2023.

PG Admission 2023

M.Sc.

In order to secure admission under MSc, candidates must have earned a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50%. The final selection will be based on marks in JET followed by an interview round.

M.Des

Candidates must have completed a 4-year degree program in engineering, fine and applied arts, MBBS, etc. with a minimum grade point average of 50%. Additionally, English should have been a required course for all pupils. However, the final selection will be based on CEED/JET scores With Portfolio Review and Personal Interview.

M.Com/ MA/ LLM

Based on qualifying examination and performance in JET followed by a personal interview round.

Ph.D. Admission 2023
