 The Programmed involves six semesters based on CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) Model involving Core courses, Discipline Specific Electives, Skill Enhancement Courses and Ability Enhancement Courses. Discipline-specific electives offered in the fifth and the sixth semesters, namely Human Resource & Marketing Management, Banking & Insurance and Accounting & Finance, aim to provide exposure to students to deepen their understanding of concepts in the chosen electives.

Students must undertake a micro project during the final semester, enabling them to explore research tools.

How to Get Direct Admission for B-Com in Christ University

Application availabilityApplications for the programmed will be accessible online from 8 December 2024 until the official closing date. Applicants can access the Christ application form on the university website: www.christuniversity.in.
Registration processApplicants need to register on the website https://appstat.christuniversity.in by providing their name as published on the Class 10 mark sheet and their email ID. The provided email and mobile number will be used for communication regarding confirmation and application status updates.
Selection process results: Results of the selection process will be published on https://app.christuniversity.in in accordance with the updated dates provided by the university. Selected candidates for the B.Com course will receive an e-offer of admission, valid until the specified date.
Scheduling admission: Candidates must select a preferred date and time slot from the available options to ensure a smooth admission process.
Campus visitAdmission processing must be completed at the campus specified in the offer of admission.
Fee payment: As per UGC guidelines, fee payments must be made online. Payment options and details will be outlined in the offer of admission. The first-year fees, including the admission registration fee, should be paid in full as part of the admission process.
Document verification: During admission, It is mandatory for candidates to submit original marks cards along with photocopies, as listed below:

Direct admission: Given all the requirements, the whole process of admission could be a daunting task for many students and their parents.

To Process Admission– 2024

  • Candidates must choose the preferred date and time from available options to facilitate a smooth admission process.
  • Admission must be processed at the campus where the programmed is offered as published in the offer of admission.
  • As per UGC guidelines, fee payment has to be made through online mode.
  • Payment options and details will be available in the offer of admission.
  • Fees for the first year including Admission Registration fee must be paid in full as part of the admission process.

Make payment using a card and after successful payment, click on submit. A 9 (Nine) digit Application number will be generated. If unable to print the application form due to system/power/internet failure, logon to https://appstat.christuniversity.in, under the “Application

Status” page enter the registered Email-ID and password to view and print the application form. (After payment if you do not receive the 9 (Nine) digit application number, then your application process is incomplete, and payment will go in for refund process.

Candidates falling under any of the below mentioned categories must apply under the International Student Category:

  1. Foreign citizens,   
  2. PIO card holders and   
  3. OCI (Dual Citizens)

International students coming from Non-English speaking countries should:

  • produce evidence of passing the qualifying examination in English medium or   
  • have IELTS 6.0 with no sub-score below 5.5 or TOEFL (paper) 550, TOEFL (computer) of 213 or TOEFL (IBT) of 79 scores

Candidates without the above pre-qualifications will have to enroll either for

  • Intensive Certificate course in English Language (Full Time) conducted from March to May each year or   
  • One Semester Certificate course in English Language (Part Time) conducted after regular class hours from June to December.

Note: The International Student category fee structure is binding for the full duration of the programmed and cannot be transferred /changed in between.

Candidates from the above listed categories having pursued Indian Educational qualification and who may have applied under the Indian States Category will have to pay the International Student Category Fee. The decision of the Admission committee is final.

Candidates seeking admission through International Student category (Foreign Nationals/PIO/OCI) will have a separate application process, with the following options to apply for any programmed at Christ University.
