Christ University academic programs have been highly ranked by reputed external agencies and have wide public acceptance. In 2008 Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India declared it a Deemed to be University.
The University through its 29 departments offers 44 undergraduate, 44 postgraduate and 16 MPhil and 17 PhD programmed in humanities, social sciences, science, commerce, management, engineering, education and law to over 16000 students. The campus has students from all the states of India and 59 different countries and over 600 pan Indian and international faculty members.
