Bharti Vidyapeeth was established in 1964 by politician and educationist Patangrao Kadam. The main objective of the Bharti Vidyapeeth is to bring intellectual awakening among people by educating them and to fulfil human resource needed for all round development.
On April 26, 1996, Government of India on the recommendation of the University Grants Commission (UGC), granted the status of “Deemed to be University.” Bharti Vidyapeeth is also recognized with A+ grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Bharti Vidyapeeth ranked on 54th position among universities by NIRF – 2017.
Bharti Vidyapeeth campus is spread across 85 acres of land. This campus is also known as Katraj Campus. This campus includes an engineering college which is affiliated with Pune University. There are various amenities such as hostels, play fields, hospitals, gardens, canteen, banking and postal services, dispensary.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria-
Minimum eligibility to apply for UG courses offered by Bharati Vidyapeeth University is 50% marks in Class XII or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
Admission Process-
- The test is conducted individually for all the subjects on different days. Check the below mentioned course wise CET schedule.
- The university conducts BVP CET for B Tech, B-MAT for MBA and B-CAT for MCA.
- Post the entrance exam, GDPI or counselling will be conducted for relevant programmes. The candidates are expected to be present in person for GDPI and Counselling sessions.

Infrastructure & Facilities-
The infrastructure of BVP is world-class. The campus has a seven-strayed building with moot courtrooms, cyber cell, legal aid cell, placement cell, auditorium, library etc. The campus also provides grounds for outdoor games like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball etc.
The hostel facilities and environment are very good as I have heard and seen so far and I don’t live in the hostel. Rooms are good but a little messy because four people live in one room. The hostel food is quite good. It is edible as compared to other hostels’ food.
For a semi-government institute, getting such an amazing auditorium is a big thing. The classrooms has a really pleasant temperature. The environment of the campus is cool. The college building is of six floors plus a library which is in the basement, to avoid the unnecessary noise to come in.
The whole campus is enabled with free Wi-Fi facility. The labs are too good, and there are four canteens. There is a big library, and also a hospital within the campus. BVP has a bank on the campus. There is a parking lot, and a jet plane parking too. The ground was too big to play. The college has a gym facility.
Placements:
90% placements are offered in our college to the students by several companies. They simply come to our campus and provide placements on the basis of student’s performance, their ability to think and their views about some social topics.
Placements are given only after taking proper interview. The placements are provided in legal firms only under legal and high professional lawers.
The average package goes around Rs. 7-8 lacs per annum. Overall, the placements are always good, and a lot of good companies also come here to participate in the placement procedures.
